Born by the Atlantic

The story behind Inis Energy of the Sea

Inis was inspired by Dog’s Bay on the west coast of Ireland: white sand, clear water and the particular brightness of a day beside the Atlantic. It is the signature collection of an Irish, family-owned boutique perfumery with more than 40 years of fragrance experience.

The ocean connection runs deeper than the packaging. Inis has supported the Irish Whale and Dolphin Group as a core funder since 2001.

We would begin with the 30ml cologne. It is generous enough for everyday use, easy to give and less of a commitment than the largest bottle.

Is the roll-on the same as the cologne?

It has the same scent character, but the 8ml roll-on is a more concentrated eau de parfum applied directly to pulse points. The cologne spray is lighter and broader.

How can I help the fragrance last?

Apply it to moisturised skin and try the matching body lotion underneath. The roll-on is useful for a quiet top-up later in the day. Wear time naturally varies by skin, climate and application.
